| Traveling in Ecuador

40 years after serving in Ecuador (Cuenca) I am planning to return with my wife to visit. We are wondering where to go for some good basic information on traveling in the country today--especially if there would be a local guide who might be able to take us to different locations. My Spanish is very rusty. Would anyone who has been back recently be willing to visit with us or direct us to a place with info? We are looking to spend most of our time in the Quito/Cuenca area. Thanks.
