| Tungurahua area update
|

Is there anyone out there who can tell me -- or can you connect me to
someone else who can tell me -- about what life is now like in
Tungurahua Province and, especially, Cantón Quero? I lived there as a
volunteer in 1978-80, and I know that a few years back the population of
the area experienced some devastating fallout of ash from the suddenly
active Tungurahua Volcano -- and that many people were displaced. I
would really like to learn what life is like there now from someone who
is there or who has recently been there.
