TandanAgua, a small grassroots organization doing safe water programming in indigenous communities of the Ecuadorian Amazon. We received funding from FOE back in 2023 when we were just starting our work, which greatly helped us get up and running – thank you again!
Since then, we have become established as a 501c3 non-profit and continued to build on our local partnerships in Ecuador. We have given more responsibility to our local team of Ecuadorian facilitators and volunteers, and are excited to see the work become more sustainable.
We are currently running a fundraiser for a new community in the Napo province. We will be running our safe water program there, which includes the implementation of locally manufactured household water filters, public health education seminars, and water quality analysis of their drinking water sources.
It would be a huge help if you could share with your network, in case there is any interest in supporting this project. We have already raised over half of our goal of $5,000. The direct implementation will be carried out over the next 6 months, with periodic followup after that.
