From Sharon Murray:
I learned that our dear APCD for Forestry/Natural Resources, Francisco Garces, is at long last RETIRING from Peace Corps this June!!!
In recognition of this monumental event, some other ex-volunteers and I would like to put together a "Memory Book" for Francisco, as a heartfelt gift as he goes on to the next phase of his life.
The purpose of this email is to ask you all to contribute to this effort by sending in:
1. thoughts, best wishes, anecdotes, remembrances for Franciscos retirement Memory Book (by email)
2. photos or other images (by snail mail)
3. your full name, years of service, site you served in, mailing address and phone number (for Francisco to keep in touch)
All submissions should be in no later than 15 May
2005 in order to get it in to him on time.
I have volunteered to compile everything here in Virginia and then get it down to him in Ecuador prior to his retirement in June.
