Friends of Ecuador is proud to support PCV Cecilia Banks' sales of scarves on behalf of Mensajeros de la Paz. After confirming your order with Cecilia, you can pay for it online through our secure epay page. Mensajeros de la Paz is an NGO in Cuenca, Ecuador, serving at-risk children and teenagers. The foundation provides the children and teenagers with housing, food, medicine, and education, all in a community environment. There are nine communities, one of which is solely for teenage girls. The teenage girls live in the Mensajero communities for a variety of reasons, including parents who have migrated abroad, parents with problems with alcoholism, domestic violence, and drug abuse; or abandonment. |
