At the 40th anniversary, Peace Corps Ecuador produced a booklet that outlines the history of the Peace Corps in Ecuador.  The articles in this History section are the result of the work that PCV John Zorovich and colleagues undertook to document the first 40 years of the Peace Corps in Ecuador.

1. The Early Years 1960s-70s The early years of Peace Corps/Ecuador are available in these short vignettes, written by John Zorovich, ('98-'01) for the 40th anniversary of Peace Corps in Ecuador. 

2. Refocus and renewal 1980s-90s As John documents, Peace Corps Ecuador refocused efforts on strengthening its impact, seeking new methods and leaving behind its free spirited approach of earlier decades for a more programmatic response to Ecuador's needs.

3. The new millenium John concludes his work looking at Peace Corps Ecuador's recent accomplishments and future direction.
